Hello fellow Xtrato Designs members, First of all, we would like to apologize for the Bradly interruption that was taken on Xtrato Designs. However , it seem it was necessary at its time. As many of you know, Xtrato Designs Community Began in the year 2004 , after the downfall of may good designers , and so , Xtrato Designs ever since, started to provide quality themes for the community , free and commercial , as time went on , the community grew larger , attracting all sorts of people , with them, also came people without respect , those who were here to leave dirt in our community, and so , we didn't allow them , we continued on with our community.

Recently, a series of events, both personal , and economic , were present in Xtrato's Life, forcing , the closure of the community , although it seemed unnecessary at the time.

Nuke Designers Today Face a critical crisis that was brought by people who have no standards, low life person who have no respect for other people, people who do not care for others, but only for themselves, leeching everything they can . Hiding behind "their" Way of doing their not respectful actions , they are forcing the best of php-nuke designers To leave , and stop the creation of Digital Work for Php-Nuke , although, many of us know, they will not stop soon. But they have affected the routine of many people, in personal and other ways . We will not be a victim of them anymore, they are who they are, What is they seek or want , is personal satisfaction , we intend to help the community , Designing brings MORE Life to php nuke , without designers, the boring side appears and takes over .

Xtrato Designs will most likely , stop any or all sorts of designs for The PHP-Nuke Community, and Continue on with different CMS's. We dedicated most of our designs to The Big Community.

Xtrato Designs Community, today, stands in the middle of the bridge, it is up for the community to continue on , and that has now come to this Conclusion.

We Xtrato Designs, May Or may NOT continue as a community, within the fallowing days we will determine this last decision , is of that that we now Call for Great Knowledgeable Staff Members, capable of handling a big communities , With mature decisions and actions , we can not tolerate any immature actions within staff members . Please be sure that you are at least 17 years or Older when applying for Staff. We are also looking for someone who can be the LEAD Administrator of our site, this person must! have knowledge in vBulletin, because vb is the core of our community in script.

We will Remain Open for the fallowing Days to determine our last , or transitional actions to a better , or closed community , it is up TO YOU , to now decide the fate of Xtrato Designs Community, we have always helped The community. We hope to expect the same help back . Our Dedicated server has now surpassed our Revenue created in Advertisements, Donations are More than Welcomed Now, we will try to maintain our Dedicated Server for as long as we can, but we now, need the community to lend us a hand to retain this server, for it is of its performance that we all have been quite pleasured.

Wow! I did not expect this! Many of you around here do not know me, i was a member a while back for not to long under both this name as well as Overkill.

Let me be the first to say (assuming somenoe doesnt type faster than me) that xtrato is and, in my opinion, alwayse will be one of the greatest web designers you will ever find.

I have turned to this community for help in the past, and it has alwayse been a great experiance. I wasnt very active in the past, mainly because of school work and what not. I find myself with more time on my hands latly and would love to be a part of this great community and help it out in any way I can.

I definatly do not want to see such a great community fall through, and since I took mine down last year due to school work and other issues, I have missed being a part of a community and I hope this can be my chance to do it again!

I have worked with PHP-nuke many times and have a general understanding of codeing, I can change things and such, I just cant produce code from the top of my head. I have managed my share of sites, both my own and that of friends. I am familure with the administration of nuke, vBulluton, PHPBB as was as others. I consider myself fairly knowlagble with most aspects of a computer, so I think I would be a great addition to the team!

I can work with photoshop, I am still learning however, I know a lot of HTML, and I have a lot of experiance being an admin of forums. So, as I read in the email, you need some people to step up and help out, id love to help out in any way I can! I am 17 years old, going on 18 in may. I'm considering a degree in either web/graphic design or possiably CSS. I am a very fast learner, ask my Computer Technology teacher hehe.


Anyway, I'll stop babbaling.

DONT GIVE UP YET XTRATO! I have been here from 2004 and I always stop here every day to hang out. I am the ( Xtrato Designs junkie I NEED MY DAILY FIX!!! ) I can go on and on about Xtrato Designs how great all you are. but to me I am going to lose my family if you close for good. sure I dont talk alot but when I got to say something I do and I do it with a positive attutide. PLEASE DONT GIVE UP YET XTRATO!

I would like to throw out my 2 cents. Probably make someone mad, but I will toss it out there anyway.

I am a former Nuke Evo user myself. Once I got into running a website, I went out looking for a stand out theme for my site. I do not remember how I came across your site, but I did. And when I seen what you all had to offer, I knew at that moment that there would be no other theme like what you guys have to offer.

My experience went downhill from there once funds were paid. My site was never completed. I had made several attempts to get the problem corrected, but it was like no one would listen nor cared. I paid nearly $200.00 US dollars for this theme with all the extras plus install, and I never once got to use it. As of this current day, I still have not used it. I attempted to get a refund, and that was not successful as well. It made me mad and it still bothers me til this day to know that I waisted that money on something I have never used one time.

Shortly there after, I got rid of Evo and decided to go with vBulletin. Again, Ii went out looking for the one of a kind theme. And yes, I came back here. I submitted a request to have this theme that I bought, ported for vB so that I could use it. That was a little over a month ago, and as of current time, I have still not heard anything back from anyone here and still have not gotten to use the theme.

I never even got to download that joker.

With saying all of that, my experience here has been well below standards. BUT, I have hope and keep coming back.

Do I wish to see this community go away? Believe it or not, NO! No I do not.

I think you all have a great product. But with the great product, you have to improve in other areas as well. I think with those improvements, there would be no stopping you guys. And with that, you would have more of the communities support, that is to include mine as well.

There is only one other theme design community out there that puts out what I would call a quality product. But, no one puts out the kind of work you guys do here. It would be disasterous for you all to close shop and go away!

Let's get all of this behind us and move forward for what I think could be a bright future!

I don't know the background on what's prompted this action, but I would like to say the following:

I have used your themes in a few of my websites throughout the last few years, along with seeing your themes in countless other sites and gaming communities in my net travels. Your themes are top-notch, very clean, and visually captivating. I've referred many site owners to your sites/themes.

On that note, it would be a great loss to the nuke community if you decided to take your leave. Please reconsider. As I said, I don't know what prompted this, but I do realize that life has it's occassional hard times. There are always people out there that will try to drain everything they can from you, without giving anything in return. Just step back, and stop associating with them. Sometimes that's a difficult thing to do, especially if you are a giving type of person, but it can be done. Trust me, I've been there.


Whatever your decision, please take note that you have definately made a huge positive impact on the nuke community. Thank you for all your hard work.

My two cents...

I think you should close your doors or redo the thinking here. Now hear me out, I bought the XD-DarkSyde theme and had nothing but problems with it. It had some back end code that would check the key given with the Xtrato site to see if I was legit to use it and if it wasn't it would lock everyone out. We tried everything under the sun to get theme to work but nothing.. So we paid more money to Xtrato to install it so that he would fix any problems found. Two weeks later I had to move host. I reinstalled it again, just knowing I would need to pay Xtrato again, but it worked just fine. But then we noticed the gfx_check code would not show the image so new users could not make accounts. I came here to ask for help. It took a few weeks and I had to threaten to recode the theme before I had help. Xtrato's team did fix the problem but this theme has wasted a lot of my time by now.

Almost one month later the site locked everyone out because the key code failed again. It was redirecting everyone that came to my site to some web site that wanted people to enter their email address.. I don't know to what end.

I had to remove the theme and I got one somewhere else.

I know you tried Xtrato but I don’t think it was hard enough.

I'm not a PHP noob and I code a lot of one off sites so installing a PHPnuke theme is a no-brainer even with your key code stuff. You put so much into protecting your work that you forgot that not everyone is going to steal it and that the problems created by the faulty key code and poor tech support is leading people away.

Ever since I have come to this community I have checked the site daily. Since it has gone down I have missed the community dearly. So I hope the community stays. I would like to say thank you for the E-mail about what is going on. If there is anything I can do at all please let me know Xtrato. (I did read the E-mail and staff part but I am not 17.) Also if the community stays I will try and donate some money for the servers.
